The Veerni Project: Educating Girls in Rural Rajasthan
The Veerni Project empowers adolescent girls from the Thar Desert in Western Rajasthan by providing access to quality secondary education, healthcare, and safe boarding. Since 2000, Veerni has supported over 120 girls each year—regardless of caste—enabling them to complete school, delay early marriage, and pursue higher education and careers.
In a region where gender inequality remains deeply entrenched, Veerni offers a pathway to independence and dignity through education. With your support, we aim to expand our reach and give more girls the opportunity to shape their own futures.
