Veerni Institute

The Veerni Institute is more than a school; it’s a family. Each girl has her own bed, her own space, and people who care deeply about her wellbeing. Our matrons and staff create a warm, nurturing environment where girls feel secure, valued, and able to thrive. Meals are shared, laughter fills the courtyards, and friendships blossom that last a lifetime.

The girls attend one respected English-medium school in Jodhpur, travelling each day on Veerni’s school buses. They study a wide range of subjects including Arts, Science, and Commerce, and receive extra help in English and Maths when they need it. We make sure every girl has the confidence and skills to chase her ambitions, whether that means college, training, or a career of her choice.

Our bright computer lab hums with energy as girls learn essential digital skills. Technology classes open up a world of possibility, showing them that their futures can reach far beyond the boundaries of their villages.

At Veerni, learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Yoga, sports, self-defence, and creative arts all play a part in daily life. Whether the girls are running on the field, painting a mural, or mastering a new yoga pose, they’re building strength, confidence, and joy in who they are.

Our girls receive regular health checks, vaccinations, and ongoing care from our resident nurse. Nutrition sessions, hygiene workshops, and counselling help them stay healthy in body and mind. Every detail, from the food they eat to the friendships they form, is designed to help them grow strong and self-assured.

Many of our students are the first in their families to complete secondary school. By offering free education, meals, and a safe place to live, and by working closely with parents to delay marriage until graduation, we are not just changing individual lives but transforming futures.

Our support continues long after the girls finish school. We guide them toward college, vocational training, or employment, and many return as mentors to inspire the next generation. They become teachers, nurses, entrepreneurs, and community leaders, proof that when girls are given the chance, they change the world around them.

Since opening our doors in 2005, the Veerni Institute has grown into a vibrant community of learning, laughter, and hope. Every girl who joins us is a reminder that education doesn’t just build knowledge, it builds possibility.
