Veerni Institute
What We Do at the Veerni Institute
At the Veerni Institute, we believe that every girl deserves the chance to learn, grow, and dream freely. From our residential home in Jodhpur, we support 120 girls from remote villages in Rajasthan’s Thar Desert, giving them access to quality education and a safe, loving community. Here, they can focus on their studies, free from the pressures of poverty or early marriage, and discover who they want to become.
Our new building
Demand to enrol in the Veerni program is growing, yet safe accommodation remains out of reach for many girls. In response, we have created a permanent home, one that goes beyond a traditional school, providing safety, stability, and the opportunity to thrive.
The Veerni Institute will embody our commitment to empowering young women. Through education, mentorship, and holistic development, it will help remove barriers and enable every girl to thrive.
In 2024, we secured land in a strategic location that balances safety, accessibility, and a quiet, focused learning environment.
Designed as a ground-plus-two-floor campus, the institute will host up to 200 girls while also serving the wider community through outreach programs. Spread across 37,155 sq. ft., the campus will include dormitories, dining and kitchen facilities, classrooms, computer and science labs, a library, arts spaces, a health centre, sports facilities, and administrative offices, each thoughtfully planned to support growth and well-being.
Beyond the campus, technology-driven outreach, health initiatives, remedial classes for dropouts, and a skill development centre for grades 10–12 will expand our impact. A dedicated sports academy will further promote holistic development.
This initiative will also benefit the local community by creating employment opportunities and strengthening economic resilience.
Together, this permanent home will serve as a foundation for education, opportunity, and lasting community impact.
